A great image is something that we all appreciate, something that will speak to each of us individually and will often hold great worth. Being a portrait photographer I have the privilege of capturing these moments.

As a child I was obsessed with cinema. My career began in the film industry and I am proud to say that I have worked alongside some of my idols. This time fuelled my creativity and has had a considerable impact on my photographic style.

We may all be able to appreciate a great image but few photographs will hold more emotion or value than those of our loved ones, these are treasured for a lifetime. It was clear to me that to capture these precious moments would truly be an honour. Thus Max Bridge | Portrait Photographer was born.

I approach each and every shoot with this in mind. We all want to be naturals in front of the camera but sadly very few of us are. I get to know my clients during our pre-shoot consultation, often over coffee, and use this knowledge to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Together we make sure the shoot suits you and will be something personal.

Here’s two of those treasured family photos, I smile every time I see these.
Despite the obvious flaws both of these photographs mean a lot.
